Long time no see!
Seriously? March was my last post? 5 Months ago? Wow! I have to admit that I tried to update it a couple of times, but forgot my password. =-) LOL So rather than tell you everything we have done since March, let me tell you what is going on right now. =-)
Seth is now 16 months old. He is quite the character. He runs great, eats great, and his favorite thing to do these days, is to throw things away! Mommy had to go dumpster diving yesterday to find his new sandal. EWwww. He also likes to throw away toys and tv remotes. He is getting tall, and getting a little neck. He was sick a couple of weeks ago. It was his first time with the stomach bug. He didn't like throwing up. It scared him. Mommy didn't like it either.
Hannah and Joe are back at school now and Anthony is working full time at Sam's Club. Not a ton going on here at the Thomas house. I work today, so I need to get ready. At least you have a little update now! Let's hope the next comes sooner than 5 months!

March 2010
It's been so long since my last update! So much has happened with the little one! It seems like Seth does something new just about every day! He is now 11 months old and will turn 1 year on April 4th (Easter Sunday). I am in the process of trying to find a comfy new big boy car seat that faces forward! Although he still fits in his infant carrier, I think he will love facing forward and being able to see Mommy when we are driving. Seth is walking, but not all the time. He likes to take 5 or 6 steps at a time, and only if there is something cushie to walk to, like a couch or ottoman. He is going to be a strong willed child for sure. He knows when we are putting him on the spot to walk, talk, or repeat something cute. He won't do it. He just smiles and watches us make fools of ourselves to try to repeat whatever he just did. Funny boy. He is repeating a lot of words lately. Here is the current word list (you will notice Mommy absent from this list):
Da-dee.....Daddy
Du-eee.....Ducky
Do-eeee....Doggy
Hi.......Hi =-) Possibly his first real word
Bye......Bye
Eye......eye
U-p.......up
E.......eat
We have been battling illnesses here in the Thomas house for the past month and a half. From stomach flues to pneumonia. Sean's fever went as high as 103.3! Hopefully we are on the mend. Anthony is back at school and continuing his job hunt. He just got back from his reserve weekend with the Marines. He had an 8 mile hike.......I don't know how he does it with 60+ lbs on his back! Joseph got a copy of his transcript from his high school and is ranked #1 out of 428 students. Amazing, yes. Hannah's cheer season finally wrapped up in Las Vegas. Her team took 2nd and 3rd place twice. She had a lot of fun and is looking forward to trying out for the Vanden team this spring. Good luck Hannah. My parents are staying with us for a bit. They are on the hunt for the perfect house to call their home. I am enjoying them being here and will be sad when they get their own place. I am looking forward to warmer weather and for the baby to walk a little more. I am itching to go out back and do some gardening and planting! It seems like a late spring for us. Well that's all for now! I will make an effort to update more often!

Well, I am oficially back at work, and doing it all on my own. No more shadowing! It was hard to leave the baby, but I know Bama is taking great care of Seth (and everyone else)! Thanks Bama! Seth is crawling everywere! He likes to open and close doors, and is fascinated by the stairs gate! He hates to be changed, he cries and twists his body when his diaper is off. Any ideas on how to change this? He is 9 months old now, and has 6 teeth, 2 of them just popped through. He is standing more and more on his own now. He loves music! Anytime he hears music he starts rocking or doing fast little mini squats. It cracks us up, he is so darn cute!
As for the rest of the family, Hannah is gearing up for her cheer competition in Las Vegas. Go Bulldogs! Joseph is enjoying high school and still getting great grades. Anthony has started back up at college, and has been bringing home a lot of lady friends. =-)
Sean is busy with work and finishing up with our rental property. It is taking shape nicely and we have a lot of interest in it already. Here are a few more recent pictures!

New Years Eve we spent with the whole Thomas Family. It was great to visit with family over the holidays. I am finally back at work. They have me orinenting for 2 weeks and they turn me loose on my own next week. Here are a few pictures taken in the past few weeks! Enjoy!

How could I not take Seth to his first pumpkin patch? I put it off all the way till Friday the 30th, and then couldn't put it off anymore....I guess I am my father's daughter......procrastination is my middle name! =-) I wanted to go earlier (maybe there would have been better pumkins) but just didn't get to it. Joe, Hannah, Seth and I went Friday afternoon. Very fun! We got Starbucks on the way up to Dixon. It was such a beautiful day, sun shining, no wind, and a very happy baby. We got a wagon and headed out to find the perfect pumkin......times 6! Seth loved the wagon ride, at one point, when I stopped, he started to cry! Guess I know what to get for Christmas! Joseph and Hannah rode the pedal carts while Seth and I went pumkin picking. Here are a few pictures from our fun afternoon! Happy Halloween!
