While at the park taking pictures.....this cute little 3 year old was more interested in having his picture taken then playing at the park! He kept getting in front of the camera, and at one point he sat down right in front of Seth. It was too cute, so I had to take his picture too!

Mini Updates

Well, Seth finally got tooth # 2 the other day! Part of me thinks he might be getting another because he is still drooling lots! I took him to the doctor on Monday. He has been sick for almost 2 weeks. I thought he was getting better, then he started up with another cough and more gook from his nose! Turns out he has 2 ear infections. Poor guy. He doesn't like taking medicine. He is the master at spitting out anything you put in his mouth. It seems like if I give him a little of the medicine then give him my finger or a pacifier, that he will swallow the medicine.

He is sitting up unassited now, though he sometimes falls over. Its really cute. He still doesn't nap well. He is just like Anthony. He needs someone to sleep with him for him to nap for more than 5 minutes. When he went to the doctor, he weighed 18.3 lbs. He has one cute little birthmark on his right thigh. I am starting to give him more real people food. He doesn't like rice cereal, or bananas, or applesauce, or prunes, but he does like pears! He even opened his mouth for more! I won't give up on him, I will continue to keep giving him solids. Maybe introduce some steamed veggies in the next couple of days.

Sean brewed up his 3rd batch of beer yesterday, so we have one batch waiting to be bottled, and one in fermentation. He loves his new hobbie. Anthony comes home in 4 weeks. He is more than ready. Yesterday he turned 19! Happy Birthday Anthony! We love you!

Hannah is loving Cheerleading right now, she is preparing for a competition coming up in October. Joseph is still swimming and his instructor said she will be moving him up soon. He also tested for honors classes and made it. As for me......I took pictures of my best friends daughter and her fiance yesterday, and tomorrow Sean and I will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary honey! I love you!

Batch #2 of the Thomas Brewery is underway! This time Sean is brewing up a Cream Ale. Had to brew in the kitchen this morning, so our house smells of hops and barley! Check out the pics of the new batch and a peek of the Porter made a few weeks ago!

Labor day weekend

Well, Anthony came home for the Labor Day weekend. We picked him up from BART on Friday since the Bay Bridge was closed. We had a little get together on Saturday where we got to taste Sean's beer for the first time. Smooooooooth! Nice flavor. It is a porter and if it were sold in stores....I'd buy it! No joke! =-)

Sunday we went to a friends house and sang Karaoke, and Sean played poker. So fun, but I think I sound better in the shower. Anthony is doing good, but he is ready to wrap up his training and come home. Seth, I think, has his first cold. He is breathing through his mouth and has green boogies (mommy medical terminology). Last night he woke up coughing and just sounds really congested. Today he took a 2 1/2 hour nap, and is taking another as I write. When he is awake he is in a good mood (except when I am sucking the boogies out of his nose) and of course smiles at Daddy every chance he gets.

Hannah has her first home game for Cheer this weekend, so we will be going to that, and Sean is making a second batch of beer this weekend. Can't believe the weekend is almost here! I love holidays! Steelers play their first game of the season tomorrow night, so you know what we will be doing. Well, we just watched the President's speech and Sean wants to talk politics (God help me) so that is all for now! God Bless!

Seth's First tooth!

While feeling around in his mouth today, I notice a little sharpness from his bottom gums! No wonder he has been complaining a bit more lately! Poor little guy! The first tooth is on the bottom left. Now lets hope he doesn't bite while eating......
